Front end paint protection

What is everyone using/doing for paint protection on the nose? A friend of mine had his black C6 vette done with Armor Coat last year and it came out great. I went to speak with the same shop that did his vette today and walked away feeling like they have no idea what they were doing. Example: I asked them about the stripes, and they said "OHH, I Don't know, I think they have to come off." So I said ok , if I get you new Ford stripes can you put them back on? The guy said "Oh well we can find a place to put them back on." So, I ask what is everyone else using, if any, to prevent rock chips?

I had to remove the Rokblock from the hood because I installed flat black stripes. Im not sure you can have flat black stripes and clear film on the same piece. And good luck finding a good place to start messing with stripe installs, my own body shop can to do it. We had to re-do a Shelby GT 3 times before it was close to right. I would do the front's od the quarter panels, the bumper, headlights, spoiler, door handles and key holes, and maybe rear fenders to the rear of the tire..

i dont have stripes on my car but i have a 3m bra on mine

I heard the 3m works great and have seen it in person....you cant even tell its there.
