Just finished reworking the very tired front end...

Before:

After:

Work done:

1. Bumper cover dent removal (it was there when I bought it... honest!) and respray
2. Hood catch beam(?) paint black
3. Installed FR500s Front Bumper Beam (M-17757-A) & Tow Hook Loop Kit (M-17954-A)
4. Installed black halo headlights & black turn/parking lights

Unfortunately, due to local laws a new license plate has to go on :-(

Cheers, but how so regarding the tow hook... it's attached to the frame and seems to do OK on the FR500s??

:wtf1: Where would you even buy a faux tow hook?? The same shop that sells faux steering wheels maybe??

Is there any weight savings with the tow beam?

Unfortunately I didn't weigh the new beam before I installed it, but I very much doubt it. If anything the new beam might add a very small amount of weight, as it appears to be more robust with an additional plate at the bottom (to prevent buckling I presume) and, obviously, the tow hook attaching arm at the top.

Did you paint the lower part of the front bumper black? I really like that.

Cheers! Yes, I had the lower lip and up into the lower grill area all done black and matched with the Agent 47 lower grill so that it blends perfectly
