wtf.......................... :doggy: me sideways!!!! :kill:

We just did a dyno comparison on the FRPP intake and TB compared to stock on our 09 D1 Procharged Bullitt, and thought some people would be interested.
The car has a D1SC making about 11#'s of boost, FRPP Hot rod cams, SS Works Long tubes and stock cat back exhaust on the before dyno run. For the after Dyno run we added the FRPP TB and intake, and only adjusted the tune to keep the AFR's good. The SAE correction was .99 for the before and 1.0 for the after. So everything was almost identical for the two runs. It was 96* in the shop for both pulls.
Here is a dyno vid, a few pics of the intakes, and the dyno sheet.

We did a Kooks Header and FRPP intake/TB swap on another Procharged GT last week and the car picked up 60 hp, so we wanted to isolate the intake/TB combo to see how much power it made by itself, and we were pretty happy with the results.

Looks like gains from 4K on to me.

crap.. looks like I will have to install mine tomorrow and see... how long is the install?
whats the steps? do I put oil on those green gasket rings? I have deletes in the tune so I should not throw any codes... but it is confirmed that I can drive with this safely without tuning for it(under 5k)??
Took me about an hour, no oil on rings, clean area good and watch that you dont knock anything in the intake ports. I installed mine with a 93P tune for cmcv's and it ran good all the way to redline with no issues or codes.....

Good deal. I was speaking of dalemllns, however. I didn't missed your post the first time because you didn't go into detail until further into the thread.

Either way... Good luck.

I did call them and advise them of my problem, I am raising hell and not just on the internet, I bought this intake in a package with cams, heads, tb together. I saved for it and when I noticed the flexing I was concerned because I had already had fuel line rupture I thought originally was either my fault or cheap ass line......

I think the factory manifold actually looks better...IMO, but nothing looks better than the C&L

AGREED.

Definitely looks like gains of hp from 4k up and that's on a Centri so YEAH makes since to me. Centri's make power up top so once it hits boost its flowing through that intake faster and making more power. Looks legit to me..

On that particular car. The car we tested it on showed it was behind up to 6300 then took off nicely until 7000. I believe it is HP Performance in Arizona that just tested one as well. Same thing. Nothing until 6000 rpm.

you are wrong. US-1 is never wrong. He clearly explained that.
Looks like you missed your appointment with Dr. Kavorkian....Fuktardicus.

I just can't wait to see what happens when someone running 14 psi or so on a centrifugal slams the throttle blades shut at the finish line. If it's flexing this much under simple vacuum conditions.........

Seems they were unloading that rail car unvented it won't take much vac / press to expand or crush one of them.
Same thing with the gas boats I work with, 3lbs Max when testing tanks for vapor leaks we use a "manometer" to measure the psi.

Wow with so many degrees thats the word you came up with? Your intelligence amazes me.

I can imagine it does. If you're IQ were any lower you'd be a rock.

And I'd like to thank you for this insightful addition to my rep points.
I'm glad you think you are the smartest person on the planet yet youve been proven wrong time and time again.

Perhaps you'd like to show me where and when I've been proven wrong "time and time again." Idiot.
