^^When you go through the "Make sure it fits" menu it takes the price up to $2351, and that also looks to be the older kit that doesn't come with adjustable shocks/struts.

This would be the same kit as the AM kit, with adjustable shocks/struts.

Better price there too though, thanks. Now I have to decide if the adjustables are worth the extra coin.

Just secured the deal on a Liberty built TR6060. Can now check that off the want list.

Upgraded syncos and micropolished gears

The difference between a 3650 and 6060 is huge. It's been reported that a Liberty reworked 6060 is very slick.

Do you have the crossmember yet? horsepower1 still has some for around $50. He also has some 26 spline Kevlar clutches for around $30. I have one I picked up just for the heck of it if you can't find another solution. There is also a stock GT500 driveshaft on ebay for $150. I'd suggest buying a stock shifter to start with. It's good enough that you might not want to upgrade.

The one I picked up comes with the crossmember, stock DS, and Pro 5.0 shifter. I would be interested to know more about the clutches you are speaking of.

It's just a 26 spline disk with Kevlar. It should be able to replace a stock disk and reuse the stock pressure plate and flywheel.

With all the power you have and the great deal you just got I'd spend the money you saved on an RST. JPC should be able to get you a very good price on one drop shipped.

Yeah, just making sure that the contact surface is compatible on the stock flywheel for the clutch.

Here's my stock flywheel next to an Exedy lightened billet 8 bolt flywheel. I'm putting the Exedy on my new build with a McLeod RST clutch. Right now I have an Exedy 6 bolt flywheel on the car with the RST. As you can see the stock flywheel has a wider surface area than the aftermarket flywheel.

Can an RST Clutch be used on a stock 6 bolt flywheel?

You will have a little less contact area on the inside of the flywheel but yes, it will work.

FWIW the Exedy stage 1 I used with my new build is working great. I don't think it will hold your power though. It's rated for 510/639 hp/tq or 408rwtq.

How many miles on your shortblock to be able to fit those .002 over pistons in there? I want to throw some on mine but I dont think the block will be able to be honed all the way out without going .020 over.

I ended up not using the .002 over pistons because I was JUST over being able to make them fit. I posted that I ended up with one of the last two sets of Mahle Flattops for the 3v which I could only get in .030 over bore
