Run 275/40/19, perfect height

Or go 285/35/19.

I run 255/40/19 Front and 285/35/19 rear on my wife's 5.0. Thats stock height on GT500 and Bosses. Which is ~27"

275/40/19 would put me at 27.7" on tire height.....my rear 325/30/19s are 26.7"....so that would look goofy....the 275/35/19 puts me at 26.6" which basically matches the rear tire height.

285/35/19s are 26.9" in height which would work as far as height goes, but my front rim is 19x9 so placing that 285 on a 9" rim might be pushing it. Recommended range for that tire through Michelin is 9.5"-11"...with a 10" being the best overall choice.

The 275/35/19 puts me in a good optimal range as far as height and width goes.

I'm not a fan of that short of a tire on the back to be honest. On my GT500, I run a 305/35/20, which I will most likely move up to a 315/35/20 next set I need.

Here is how it comes out with 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear. I know a lot of GT500 guys run the 325/30/20 Dunlop Sportmaxx's, which are about 27.7"

Personally I feel tires in the mid 26's are too short and may look off on these cars.

I understand where you are coming from....but tire sizes are limited when it comes to 19s....especially with Michelin....and being that my rear rim is 19x11, I want at least a 305/315 back there, they dont offer much more than a 35 sidewall for those sizes, that I've seen. Plus I'm a fan of the Michelin Super Sports, great tire! So thats why I have chosen to go that route...plus are 26.6-26.7" I'm fairly close to that stock 27" height your talking about.

Just placed an order with LRS.....

RH & LH Rear GT500 Splash Guards to protect the rear bumper with the wider meats and the Boss 302 front splitter to complete the front end of the car......minus the hood which I will be going with the Tiger Racing setup.
