i was all about the cam tune, but then read about changing plugs at 10k and bagged it.
I can see that happening, I'm sure they run it fat because of the exhaust overlapping.

I quit running mine too.
I will be removing it tonight until I get the C&L installed and get some data logging done with Ken and Jon. I can't really push it past 1/4 throttle without it hesitating.

Thanks, it definitely sounds good.

Whats this about changing plugs? Is it due to excessive fuel?
Most likely, I dont find that surprising. You can smell how rich it was running last night

Run it WFO a couple times...........plugs cleaned!
Lol no, nothing past 3-4K without the tune being solid. These 5.0s are too sensitive.

I'm confused. My cammed tune ran great on my 2011 with the stock air box. Never had any stalling or even a hiccup. So did you order a tune for an aftermarket CAI and install it while still running the stock air box?

I ordered the tune for my stock air box. I then recieved a call from John @ Lethal informing me that the cammed tune did not work well with the stock airbox and that he advised getting an aftermarket CAI.
I then contacted Jon and Ken directly asking about the cammed tune and stock air box. Ken talked to Jon Lund about the tune and replied quickly saying that yes you could use the stock airbox but Jon prefered and recommended using an aftermarket as well or optimal performance and to prevent stalling or hesitation, which I'm guessing they have encountered.
Like I mentioned before I plan on contacting Jon and Ken again and doing some data logging to see if I can work out the kinks with the stock airbox.

Good to know! I didn't want to go with an aftermarket airbox but DID want the Ghost cam tune. I'll continue to follow to see what you find out!

Well I know of a few guys that are running the stock airbox and have been fine on the ghost cam tune. A post or two above is proof that you can. I know Shaun @ AED does it without any issues as well.

If Shaun can do it, I know Jon and Ken can too. Those two are hands down one of the best in country with these mustangs.

When I ordered the cammed tune for my 2011 I ordered it directly over the phone while talking to Jon himself. He never once mentioned anything about problems with the stock air box. I promise you my car ran great and never had any tune related issues. With the Lund cammed tune and an ORX the car made 408/406..... Just ask Jon to give you the same tune I had. PM me and I'll give you my info.

That's what I plan on doing, just calling and dealing direct with Lund Racing for revisions.

Lethal Performance has been more than helpful supplying parts and customer service wise.

Maybe I missed it, but did you end up getting the gears installed? If so how's the overall feel?

Loaded the Lethal Tune tonight and took it for a cruise. Lethal tune runs a lot better, but still has it's bugs. The lethal tune is setup for the stock air box and I was under the impression that it was a basic non-cammed tune, but that doesn't seem to be the case. They are both cammed tunes, but one is set up for a JLT CAI or a CAI of some kind.
I messaged John @ Lethal and Lund Racing to get it all straightend out.

Car sounds ungodly with this exhaust setup...

Man it seems like the Lund crew is kinda struggling. Jewc75's car idled like shit before they got it lined out and now your car isn't running right. I wonder what's going on?

Yeah its running a little rough, but hopefully with the information you gave me we can get it all worked out here soon. I just dont want to risk anything breaking.

I messaged Ken B here tonight. I'll keep the thread updated with further results.

Ken B and the Lund Racing Team have been quick and helpful so far, so I'm not very worried.

I datalogged mine at Ken's request. He got it worked out.

I'm guessing that the same route I'm gonna have to take. I need to brush up on my data logging skills. I wondering if I should wait for the C&L to be installed first. I'm sure it's worth a little extra power.
