Hey guys.. took some time to build a spec sheet of all the available gears for the 2011 6spd manual. I decided not to do the automatic becuase I hear you can not get a gear option with them.

27" tire/7000 rpm
3.31 ..... 3.55 ..... 3.73
1st - 3.66 ... 46 43 41
2nd - 2.43 ... 70 65 62
3rd - 1.69 ... 100 94 90
4th - 1.32 ... 128 120 114
5th - 1 ... 170 158 151

27" tire/7500 rpm
3.31 ..... 3.55 ..... 3.73
1st - 3.66 ... 50 46 44
2nd - 2.43 ... 75 70 66
3rd - 1.69 ... 108 100 95
4th - 1.32 ... 138 128 122
5th - 1 ... 182 170 161

28" tire/7000 rpm
3.31 ..... 3.55 ..... 3.73
1st - 3.66 ... 48 45 43
2nd - 2.43 ... 72 67 64
3rd - 1.69 ... 104 97 93
4th - 1.32 ... 133 124 118
5th - 1 ... 176 164 156

28" tire/7500 rpm
3.31 ..... 3.55 ..... 3.73
1st - 3.66 ... 51 48 46
2nd - 2.43 ... 78 72 69
3rd - 1.69 ... 111 104 99
4th - 1.32 ... 143 133 127
5th - 1 ... 189 176 168

What do you guys think? If you notice, the 3.55 at 7500 is equal to the 3.31 at 7000.

I think that a bolt on car should go 27"/3.73/7500 and a nitrous car might want the 28"/3.31/7000rpm.

don't think there is any magic formula,

1:1 is still 1:1 so whatever gear you'd run before, you'd run now...........

if anything, you'd run more than less, as you have more r's

You could use 4th instead of 5th and eliminate a shift if you keep the gears under 3.73 it looks like. It would be interesting to see what is faster thats for sure. spinning it up faster and banging 5th or brining it up a little slower and eliminating the shift.

Yup must be the best for every combo.:beerdrink:

obviously running 125+mph they are going to hit 5th with 3.73s especially since they were all running the stock 6800rpm limiter. What about the NA guys in the 115-120 range?

is it just me or is this chart missing 6th gear? not that you would get in to 6th at the drags, but still. also noticed it did not have a 4.10 option.

i did not put 6th in because it will not be used for racing.. or shouldn't anyway.

Also, I did not use 4.10's because it is not a factory option.

could you do this but w/ the 4.10's?? or did you find this info online somewhere allready done because they are factory options? i have a 6spd, i bought w/ 3.31's figuring i would just throw 4.10's in..

This has been discussed in previous threads, with 4.10s the gears become ridiculously short.

4.10s, 7000 rpm redline
27" Tire/28" Tire
Max. speed in each gear (mph)
1st - 37 / 38
2nd - 55 / 57
3rd - 79 / 82
4th - 101 / 105
5th - 134 / 138

The car would be in 4th gear before the 1/8 mile mark.

They ran 10.97 with a new 5.0 N/A?

Anyway, math is math, and that's all you need to determine at which speed each gear ends. They might have raised the rev limiter to extend each gear. I was using a 7000 rpm redline.
