Ok I picked up my first minor/major mod tonight. I thought I was getting a set of 4.10 gears but actually recieved a set of 3.73's I am looking for opinions before I pay to have the installed. Should i sell these and order a set of 4.10's or go ahead and slap them in. The car is an 05gt all stock except a frpp CAI and custom tune coming in the next week (waiting on tuner from AM) This is gonna be a daily driver with fun on the weekends so help me out guys.

What gears do you have now? I have 4.10s and love them. I'll find out how I like them with a Roush TVS.

+1 on what gears do you have now? If you have a manual then you have 3.55 in which case I would return the 3.73s and get the 4.10s. 4.10s are great for a daily driver. I have 4.10s and drive over 65 miles per. day.

not necessarily, wasnt the 3.55 an option on the manual cars. I think all came standard with the 3.31, but the 3.55 was optional.

and yes, if you ordered 4.10s, send them back and get your 4.10s

i have 4.10's and i think its too much for a daily driven street car. busy shifting. car had 3.55's. im switching to 3.73's. gas mileage took a good hit too.

Adam, just remember that I had 4.10 in my old 05. Just think back to what it felt like when you test drove it.

My gas mileage went up with the 4.10's thinking about 4.30's with this 6060

i can see your mileage going up....if u just switched from 4.56's. and 4.30 are overkill for a close ratio transmission like the 6060.

Do you have Manual or Automatic. If you have Auto then 4.10's. If you have manual go with 3.73's. IMO 3.73's are better not as much highway drone and if you go supercharger in the future you would want 3.73's.

3.55 were standard on the 05-06 maunal. It wasn't until 07 were 3.31 were standard on the manual and 3.55 was optional.

I am going to guess you do a lot of city/town driving. I find 4.10s perfect on the hwy.
