I bought my whipple right before the gen 2 rotors came out. I haven't thought about it in awhile, but could I possibly swap out the rotors? I've emailed whipple about buying new rotors. I believe the hp gain would be worth it if the price for install and the rotors were under $1500 with an email tune from Lethal. Lethal is now selling the 550hp kit for 05-06, 07, 08-09...so the difference in heads on the 08 that I've heard about doesn't seem to be the reason for 550hp instead of the 500hp kit I originally bought. Will I see additional hp by switching over to Gen 2 rotors and getting Lethal's tune?

I talked to whipple about this and basically it's not even worth it. The overall power output is almost the same and they gained 1-2psi with the gen 2 whipple. You can upgrade it for $2400 if you want that extra 1 psi......i'll stick to my gen 1.

Yeah I think I'll stick with my Gen1 then LOL. My question is what are the changes in the new 550 hp kits that we didn't get in the gen 1 kits? Is it the tune or pulley change or what?

The newest Gen 2 kits (the first ones came with a 3.5" pulley to keep it at ~10psi) run closer to 12 psi to get 550hp.
