turbo car? or blower car?

yes...lol
I mean as you recall it was a Saleen blower ( on Roush car) now it has a little turbo
I'm trying to maximize it at 13-15 psi before UI turn it up. I made need slicks for 20 psi or I may need to ramp it because the D/Rs are starting to give up at 15 psi

yea Paul and I'm gonna be pissed if I can get there with 17 or 18.
What I saw last night was the D/R would launch on 6 psi and go to 13 but launch on 6 and go to 15 would give up a little. So I can still work with the suspension but I believe I will need to launch at 6 go to 13 and set the controller moderatly ramp to say 18 and I should be there. Whats amazing is I think I could do it on 13 or surely 15 with slicks. But I like driving to the track with nothing but a tool box and the air on...lol

ok here you go:
You only see the launch in the first video. This was my best 60 ft
10.37 on 13 psi with a 1.49 short time. First run of the night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zARcNW0sJ5w

2nd and 3rd video…The 2nd run...did a good burn out but this was 6 psi on the brake like the other run and then 15 psi when I let it fly. I was driving this bitch for all I was worth. SKATING
60 ft went to 1.81

4th and fifth video Again from 2 different cameras ( so was the last 2 15 psi...2 different cameras same run.)
This is the same 15 psi but I went only 4-5 psi on the spool on the tranny brake and 15 psi when I let it go and I softened the rear one round on both sides. Still only had a 1.51 60 ft. I left a little softer but had the best 10.27 @ 132.48. Softening the rear stopped the nose from falling that you might have seen in the 2nd run vids.

I have the 2 step on but it will not go to the 2 step in the time it akes the tree to change. So I put it on the foot brake on the pre-stage and after I stage, transistion to transbrake and it spools.....but the converter I would guess is a bit to tight because it dont like jump right to the 2 step. Does yours???
Then again I have it at 3100

I ended up taking that POS out. I may give it a try again, I think it was a ground.

My car should be running again soon (if could just leave it alone), as soon as CK's car is done at RET their fabricator will get to finish my car. I am doing a 10 point and possibly a Intake manifold.

I am adding BMR a arms, antiroll bar, drag springs, and taking out some weight.

does your car build boost fast on the tranny brake though?

Nice times.

With the PI 3500 w/ the 2-step @ 3500, I just graze the 2-step at the last amber. But I'm going into the throttle before the tree starts to fall in order to spool up the turbo.

The one thing I've noticed is the turbo takes a bit longer to build boost on the MSD 2-step than it does w/o it straight off the transbrake. I know it pulls spark when it hits the target RPM but I don't know what it's doing with spark as the RPMs increase to the target RPM.

you might be on to something there! I notice, ( since my two step is tied into the trans brake button) that when I back up, ( I have a manual valve body and have to push the trans brake button to make reverse engage) then the msd clicks...so in other words it starts clicking right at the hit of the button.
I'll have to try it disconnected and see if it makes a difference.
My converter is a little tighter than yours and the msd is set at 3100 and like you sometimes it hits and more often its at @2900 when I let go.

Dave looks good , try to get the rear to squat and stay down a little longer. Have you tried setting the 2 set down to 2700 and see what happens.

Dave saw the video again this morning , that last run you said you adjusted the shocks one click . You could have come out with more boost.
Looks real good , 9s are just around the corner . Are you ramping the boost up by time with the ams 1000?

yeah Pete the adjustment i made worked but the dew wasfalling on the track (which is why it spun on the previous run) and the car was skating. It was time to stop for the night
