Man, I'd love to see this car run there.

This fall that should be my new home for testing and relearning the car . I will be there every chance I get. If you come to the first few (or 50) runs you may not be very impressed but, like I have always said it is going to one hell of a learning curve. Feel free to come watch me learn / make an ass out of my self .

I don't call that crazy, that is passion.

How about crazy fools like me who invest/trade the manipulated stock market?

How about all the people that keep dumping funds into their 401k and end up with less than they put in? Years wasted their too.

Keep up the great build.

MSD DIS 4 PLUS

Ok, so today I figured out the spark test for this setup . You dont use the trigger wire from the PCM , but the trigger wire at the plug for the Dis 4 plus unit. For cylinder 1 that would be the white wire on the female plug on one unit. I also tested all the other wires and have spark to all of them . I have a start up tune for all the deleted stuff coming this week from Manny at HPP and hope to start the car soon . I have been very meticulous on the checking of all the wiring and feeling comfortable with adding the fuel and cranking it up. I have a few things to straiten out on the cool down setup and the bottle opener ect. but I am feeling good about the harness wiring at this point.:thumb:

Post #5000, it must be here! LOL

I have a start up tune from HPP (based on my previous tune and the things I have deleted) and am waiting for the -an fittings to be welded to the Moroso alum. tanks for the P/S and the custom S/C tank that is being used as a coolant tank. The coolant tank will have a -6 feed and a -16 drain back to the 07 up coolant lower hose while the P/S tank will have a -6 feed and a -12 drain back. I also received the HPX maf and will adjust the tune for the new maf before start up. I have also figured out the D/S yokes needed for my setup after ordering the wrong ones, I will order the D/S this week after the new C4/AOD 28 spline chromoly trans yoke (1350) comes in. I found the correct yokes with the help of this site, 94tbird, and GB10 (THANKS GUYS!) I have switched the rear yoke to an earlier model to except the full 1350 D/S setup. I have another thread going for the D/S parts needed for this setup and will post it here after I update it with the new part numbers. The rear BMR anti sway bar is installed and just needs to be welded. Tomorrow I will start the install of the interior and anything that will not stop me from getting to the computer, engine, fuse box,etc for start up and tuning. After the D/S is here the car will be on the ground sitting on rubber for the first time in two years.:omfg:

I have to say, after seeing allot of nice cars at FFW in Ennis today, I am really inspired to say the least. This car is a priority at this point!

Lets face it $$$$ and time are the biggest factor in doing a build like this , unfortunately these are two thing most of us have no control over ! One day you are in a month long build and next thing you know life took over and you are making jokes about what you haven't completed in the last two years.

Determination, That's all I can say about it !
