Update

Started the day by installing my new Stack Racing upper and lower grills, man what pcs of shit. The fit is awful and the hardware is even worse, but what did I expect for $200. hen installed the tee for tho coolant system from the Moroso tank to the lower hose on he radiator. I then filled all the fluids , except for the coolant (still waiting on the -16 90* to come tomorrow) . Cant really fill the trans till I start it. I put 6 quarts in for the start and will recheck after the start.
Have been working on a few fuel leaks this afternoon. I first connected the fuel drain setup I have and flushed the fuel lines since they are all new SS braided lines I figured there would be some debris in them , that showed the lines I had left loose. After that I caped the fuel rails and pressurized the fuel system. I need to adjust the regulator some since it was at 55 psi. The 55 psi did show a leak at the connection on the fuel pump though and that is where I stopped for the day.

I really wanted to load the tune and try to start it tonight , but decided it would be best to finish testing everything first , Cant be to careful at this point and don't want to rush this start up with all the mods I have done at once.

The P/S and trans. have alot more lines and with the coolers there will be more fluid needed. I dont want to run the trans. pump dry.

Does anyone know if there is a way to prime the P/S system and the Trans. prior to startup?

My car hasn't been down that long but I bet the extra time spent on yours will make it that much sweeter. But what dose make me feel better is I know when it comes to your car keep my money in pocket if I see you at the drag strip lol

As long as the converter has fluid in it before start-up ad you put a few quarts in the pan then it will be fine. The pump is normally assembled with some trans fluid, so no worries.

I did not fill the converter before installation and I have two 16 pass coolers with fans mounted in the rear of the car is why I asked .

where you able to get to the point of cranking that beast over?

Tried today. I am having issues loading the tune. The Xcal2 works to the point where it says "turn key on but do not start" where at that point I turn the key on and the Xcal2 is not seeing the key on motion. I did turn it over a few times and I can hear the deeper tone of the exhaust just while cranking it over .

Anyone have any ideas on the Xcal2 (or wiring) issue ?

sorry to hear that. I cant help on your problem but Im sure there is some one here that can

I have a thread started on the issue. I'm sure it will get sorted out. Just sucks to finally be ready, check everything you can check , double check everything, finally get the balls to start it and the tune wont load.

Thanks !!!
