Loose wire in the ignition system..? have a friend who had a tach adapter installed, one of his connections were loose and it caused some issues.

Well you guys are close.

I was sitting here thinking about a 67 Camaro I had that did the same thing after a plug change and it turned out I had swapped two of the wires. That was when I ran to the garage and started checking the wires and sure enough I had #5 wires on the cops and injector plugged into #6 and vise versa. I swapped them and all is well. The car is sounding mean as hell. I will get a video up shortly. I was thinking the worst, bad valve, follower came off, timing, cams are bad, etc. All I can say right now is WOW!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel....you get to the end and don't remember doing things...that just means you really did forget OR you are getting so good at it now you don't have to think about it....I'm not sure which is better, lol.

Wow... My car is in pieces right now with a new set-up being put together. I'm going the turbo route, but that F1A makes me have 2nd thought haha. Hope you like that cam choice, I had 127600s in my car and LOVED them. I'm debating on what cam to go with for the turbo set-up now. Anyways, sick build man.

It should sound pretty sweat outside without all the blower noise in the garage. It is also idleing at 950 rpm. With it a little lower it should really sound nice. What rpm do you idle at?

Decided to add a second Auto meter WB to monitor both banks on the data logs now. We will also be able to see both bank independently right there in the car . I also have wired a low fuel pressure warning light that comes on at 45 psi if the fuel pressure drops. It will light up two very bright blue LED lights on the center dash gauge pod so I will know to get out of the gas even before the wideband would let me know I was lean. I also have a low oil pressure warning system that will light a bright blue LED if the oil pressure drops below 20 psi. I had red lights for these warning lights wired up , but after looking at all the red LED s on my gauges I decided the blue LEDs really stood out more to me. I will post a few pics tomorrow or Friday after every thing is buttoned up. Should start the pulls again this weekend and start getting this tune nailed down.

I think I'm going to do the same with the warning lights.

I am also going to wire in an alarm that way I have a visual and audible warning in place. Just have search the alarm parts yet. I will have this for the fuel pressure and the oil pressure. I also am going to activate the over boost alarm on the True boost and warning alarm lights on my Auto meter WB. Not taking any chances this time. I will do every thing I can to warn myself of any issues with the car.

If anyone has any other suggestion on warning systems or something I am missing, please let me know.
