Congrats Billy, I might be calling you next week for some advise.

Lito is by far the most thorough guy Ive ever dealt with and I don't even have the 1st revision lol........

Thanks for the grats guys! It has been a long time coming for sure . I'm just glad Lito is here now or I may have just put it back together and sold it. There is not a single shop anywhere in TX. that can do the things he has done for my car with all I have changed on the car. It is a horrible feeling when a tuner that is supposed to be one of the best in your area says to you " I will have to check with SCT again, I dont have a file for that" and you wait three weeks for a tune that will never work. There are a lot of tuners that know what SCT teaches them and then there are tuners like Lito, that know the true ins and outs of your car and its operating system. If you need to tune remote he is your guy. Cant say enough about him!

Good to see this car is up and going. Lito is the man. He has been tuning my car after you recommended him to me. He know these cars inside and out. Is more than willing to help out with questions. Lito is a top notch guy.

Enjoy your car now that it is all coming together. your hard work will pay off in the end. It looks bad ass and i would be willing to bet that it moves out very well.

Remote tuning might be the way to go then. Ken and Lund do a great job from what I have read. The best tun I've run in my car as far as driveability goes has been a JDM mail order tune, but your not going to get very good turn around time from them, Jim Sr. is usually swamped for tunes your going to wait for that good tune.

My opinion is to bite the bullet and get the car in a reputable shop and have them tune in person. I had my car towed to JDM twice to have it done...but only about three hours away for me...

Took my car to local shop with Dyno and had Lito do a remote tune. The man is amazing.:thumb:
Had the car tuned by two reputable tuners before this and they could never get close to Lito.

I saw a few of us texans just fly lito in show him a good time and let him tune our cars...whose in?

It's really impressive what Lito has done for this group, from so far away (from most of us). Definitely one of the hardest working fools here!

Lito is an amazing tuner and a great guy. I'm in as long as it is next spring when my built motor is done(and maybe a little farther north). I haven't worked with anyone more knowledgable and willing to make sure things are perfect with the car before.

I have become a big fan of datalog tuning. I am learning a lot about how my car works with every datalog. If he can tune all the changes that I have done to this car then most will be very happy. There are many tuners that know how to tune via what they have been taught by sct and learned over the years but I have not met one yet that knows all the ins and outs of the pcms in these cars. I think everyone has seen that by his posts here on this site. If he was to come here for a group tuning day I would have to go but I feel like the way I am doing it now with the car in my environment and being drivin by the intended driver of the car the way I want to drive it is the best way. It is the most "real world " tuning you can get. It does take some time though to do it right though but, if there isn't someone you can trust or that knows what to do for you particular setup then you have some choices to make. For me this way is the bast way and I am learning a lot about how my car runs and not just how it feels when I drive it.

I agree 100%. I haven't gone nearly as crazy as you have on your car but people still ask me when I'm at the track where I had it dyno tuned and when I tell them it was remotely done by Lito in Venezuela they can't believe it. My pulls where done at the drag strip for the WOT pulls which worked great.

I need to talk with him to discuss some tunes with varying throttle percentages if I want/need to slow the car down in certain events.

It is truley amazing what can be done with these cars by email!

While I am here I will update. The tuning is coming along. We have been ironing out issues with bank differences. I have swapped out the fac o2 sensors and swapped on of the wb sensors that was in the car the longest. I think we are close on the bank to bank thing now after lots of testing. I have done some 6k plus pulls in 2nd and some 3rd gear down shifts to 2nd and up. I have been working on the trans tune some. It seems with the Baumannator TCS I have to use the MPH setting to adjust the shift points and not the RPM values. I had it set at 6100 or so and was hitting a rev limit that had previously set on my Xcal some how even though the tune was set at 7000 rpm.( dont know how it got there but was in the optional parameters at 6400) I requested that Lito turn off the optional adjustments till we are done tuning yesterday evening and received the new tune today. The car pulled very well for not having any timing in it. Starting to feel some power and see some rpm is fun. Today's pull has been the first time I have had the trans tune in line with where we need the car. I went WOT and the car down shifted to 2nd at about 3k and pulled to 6440 then shifted to 3rd and dropped rpm to 5400 or so. At that point after watching the rpms climb and waiting for a rev limit hit as before I was scared by the shift and let out. LOL Either way the datalog show the shift went well and if Lito likes what he is seeing, I will do a 2-3 pull to what ever rpm I feel good about in 3rd tomorrow evening. Should be 5500 to 6000 rpms in 3rd. Just will have to watch the speed some to know where I am stopping the pull. Then we can work on the other parts of the tune until I can get on a dyno to do the 6800-700 rpm pulls.
