Got some new mods on the GT500

Pics are from a cell phone so there shitty.

First off I got a set of Shelby GT mats that look 100x better then stock. They have a nice chrome Shelby logo on them.

Aeroforce gauges, I am running my boost through them along with my Innovative Wide band.

Next is my new shift knob I got from my buddy as a Christmas present. It was custom ordered and took about a month to get but it came out great IMO.

And as we keep moving along, I purchased a set of JDM springs from a forum member. I did have CJ springs on the car and didn't care for the height of the rear. So far I like em.

Ya, I have my 28x12.50-15 MT ET Streets, my 15x10 direct drilled racestars should be here today, the 17x4.5 direct drilleds arrived yesterday. I still need to buy some M&H 28x4.5-17 Bias Front Runners but found an excellent deal on them.

I'd of liked to have the TVS on for the first few passes but I think I'm going to shoot for a 10 second pass on the stock blower with the 2.59 pulley since I have the CJ65 TB on it and the JLT 127. Looks like some guys on SVTP are getting as good as 10.7 with this combo. I am just hoping the 3.55's and the 28" tire won't kill me.

I have good information though that PRP will not open on the 14th.

I really been thinking about selling these Nittos and getting a set of Bias Rears, But I run my Bigs and littles all the time. I hate running the stock wheels and tires because I get 0 traction. I don't think I could get many miles out of those Bias tho.

That's what I wanna try to do is go for a 10 sec pass with just simple bolt ons. TVS would be sweet! There cheap and make great torque/power.

I occasionally post on UGH which I know you have seen me post on there. But that forum is just a giant dick measuring forum. If your not at 900hp and running 8s, you should burn your car. So I only view that forum for laughs and that's it. lol

I hear you on the culture over on UGH, it is turning into another Pittspeed, as soon as a new guy posts they immediately are slandered.

I had a tough time going back and forth between radial and bias ply, as I was able to cut 1.45's on 295/55/15's on my previous 2011 GT spraying a 150 shot out of the hole. So torque and traction was never an issue for me, I just see the bias ply as being more consistent and the launch window just gets bigger, which will be more forgiving on launch error vs. the radials.

What fronts are you running? I hated how bias plys would sway on the big end of the track with radial fronts (although, I did this on my old 03 cobra which had 275 radials up front and bias in the rear, I hear its different with a skinny radial up front) so I am just going to run bias on all 4.

if I do, it'll be with my 5.0. GT500 is in the shop getting a new front fascia and larger heat exchanger, thanks to the raccoon I hit going 65 on the turnpike a month ago.

I've seen and heard too much mixed info that I am not sure anymore what they are doing. I drove past there yesterday and the track itself looks like its done, just need to finish up the stands and staging areas.

I'm getting more anxious to see what my car will run now.

I had a 9" AFCO dual pass on there before. I ended up going with the 11" AFCO dual pass with dual 10" fans this time. It was still cheaper than Ford OEM, which insurance stated would be $904 with brackets lol.
