Bought a new GT500 bumper cover for $240 on ebay through granatelli outlet.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/30083608098...em=&sspagename=ADME:L:MAV:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr

I thought i snagged a pretty good deal considering it costs $300 on tousley ford without shipping costs.

I planned on picking it up at their oxnard location because they were going to charge $145 to ship it. No way.

I get an email from them saying the part in question was actually for a GT500 CHIN SPOILER. They said the picture in the listing was a mistake.

WHAT THE FREAK?! HOW DO YOU MIX UP A CHIN SPOILER A BUMPER COVER. I looked up the part number on their ebay listing and it showed up as the bumper cover. The description in the ebay listing is for the bumper cover.

I seriously dont understand how anyone could make this mistake. The part number is listed on the side of the box. They even concluded that the part number listed on the side of the box and ebay listing are totally different.

What does that mean? They are either blind/incompetent or giving me the runaround because they dont want to sell the bumper at that cost. Guess all the stories about granatelli are true.

Moral of the story? dont do business with idiots.

end of rant.

Per ebay rules they have to sell the item described and payed for.
They will probably request a cancellation for the auction that you have to OK.
You should open up a case.

Open a complaint with ebay, worst that could happen is that you still don't get the bumper and it may work out for you.

He's a member here, pm him. I have their turbo kit and have no complaints, JR has always been helpful when I messaged him. I know others have had issues with some off their products, it's not all bad. I drove 90 miles (each way)to buy a hood from a member here bcs he said it was in good shape, just a couple if rock chips that I could live with, when I inspected it, it had the rust building underneath it so I showed it to him and didn't buy it. Was he trying to screw me? No, he's a good seller on here, just made the mistake of not paying close attention to what he was selling. Just saying guys.
