GT cats on a GT500?

Will cats from a GT fit a GT500? the midpipe and all? or is it a different length?
Need to set a car back to stock at work and the wait on a stock gt500 midpipe is one month.

I dunno, but I got the stock downpipes all the way to the hpipe sitting in my garage. South Jersey.

No it will not fit. I was trying to do the opposite, trying to fit the gt500 oem cats on my GT but the bends on the collector is different.

It's only the left (driver's) leg on the H pipe that is different between the two. The GT500 one veers a little more to the left than the GT one. Otherwise, they are identical. You could bring the GT h-pipe to a muffler shop, have them put a partial cut into the left leg, bend it to match the manifold, and weld up the cut. It's been done.
