So i bought some parts and but the track would be closed untils next year. and i wanted to ask what would be your prediction on the time i could run. i usually run a 1/8 mile. the best times i have done is 8.2 at 82mph with a 1.9 60 foot on stock pirellis.

i'll be adding 4.10 gears. spydershaft and m/t drag radials 275-40-17 and probably remove the rear seats.

what do you guys think

You should probably be able to drop about .2(or more) off of the 60ft with those mods. I don't know what that would equate to in the 1/8th though.

How much RWHP do you have with all those mods in your sig?

well if .1 less in the 60 equates to aprox .2 in the 1.4, then it should be about .1 in the 1/8 so you should be in the 7's

I'd say with the drag radial's and gears you'll def bring that 60ft down to 1.7-1.8 range and prolly run consistent 8.0's and possibly a 7.9.

your mph will be higher if you spin ...... and with just those mods well 3.90's instead of 4.10's i picked up roughly 3 to 5 tenths in the quarter now the fact i learned how to drive a lil better probably should get accounted for too though lol

One question: with the 1.9 60' and the 8.2 pass, were you spinning? How did you leave? So in other words, changing only tires, how much potential do you see on how you were leaving the line (on street tires?). With the ET streets you may be able to leave at 5K rpm vs on the street tire just walking it out, for example

So, if your aggressive with the ET streets and how you drive the car, you should be able to get a mid 1.7 60'. Lets just assume a 1.75. The spyder shaft will obviously make more of a difference in the 1/4 mile, and you could pick up some with the 4.10s assuming you hook.

My prediction is low 7.9X's assuming the same DA as the 8.2 run.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79-0jDzIkJE here is a vid of a 8.2 pass, and a time slip. im leaving at a dead iddle and accelerate. right before. because if i load the converter i would only sping as crazy. i tried at 1500rpm, and it spings 2k worst 3k even worst so i just doit from idle.

i tought that if i could hold the converter at 3k with the new tires and gears and driveshaft it would make a lot of differences, also i saw terry5357 went down .2 or .3 with the belt bypass.

If you don't run sub 7.50, then you are a loser and should sell the car. :moon2:

I think I would spend my $$$ in a tune. I would think you would be easly in the mid 7 's with the cams and heads. Get your horses running before you worry about putting new shoes on them.
