Had some work done to the Bullitt

It looks really good! If you were looking to do anything else to the car, you could get a C.F. trunk, paint it to match your color, but leave the area around the faux gas cap exposed so that it looks blacked-out. Basically what you have now, but it would tie the scheme on the rear and front of the car together.

Can't tell, but I can tell you it doesn't matter to me. The quality of the hood is top notch IMO. Even the painter was impressed at how nice it turned out. You can see the carbon still underneath the paint and it looks awesome in the light. The fit was very good right out of the box as well, with just a little trimming needed up by the windshield wiper valance. Ask D-rock... he might know. I think their first iterations of the hood were all carbon, but these might be carbon over plastic.

Reversing my response on this. They are real carbon fiber. The bottoms of the hoods are just gel coated.

Yup... love the color, but i have to say... probably everybody on this board will tell you you're doing pretty damn good in black!

You know, at the moment I have a little cash and been looking at getting a family car or another toy. I started looking at the Coyotes and GT500's and calculating payments (which I swayed from quickly). Then all of a sudden I realized I was calculating payments for the full value of the car... not even considering the fact that if I sold the Bullitt I could put money down. Selling was not even on my radar. First time for everything I guess.

Which brings me a to a question, Cam... can you PM the name of your dealership(s) website?
