So.. I apologize, I'm sure this has been done before, but I just want to see if there's some kind of consensus on what to do next.
I just got my Mustang a few months ago. So far I've slapped on a Steeda CAI with a tune from Brenspeed and put on Mac Axlebacks to get a little more noise out of the V8. I've got an inquiry in with Brenspeed on install cost for some 4.10 gears and an O/R midpipe of some kind and maybe a custom dyno tune. I understand that the ever famous "butt dyno" says the 4.10's will be the best improvement after the CAI.
But what do I do after that as far as bolt-ons go? I've been lurking around these boards (among others) and (maybe I'm just blind) have found no real clear answer. If I had to give a goal, I'd say over 300 horsepower at the wheels, but not anymore than like 350. Does that mean cams? Or CMDP's and some other stuff?
The one kind of sticky issue is I paid for a 3 year bumper to bumper when I bought the car and would like to avoid as much in the way of issues with that as possible.
Anybody want to help out the noob?
