I never installed anything for reverse in my swap it works fine. My wife can push past the spring loaded lockout.

Same here, my wife doesn't have an issue with it.

However, she does have an issue with wot after doing an unintentional 180 pulling into traffic "like she does with the Accord". Whenever she drives it now the car gets a whole lot of respect.
