i've gone over all wiring a few times now and also used fords electrical diagnostic. i've purchased 3 throttle body sensors and they all end up failing. the best i've gotten was about a mile from my house when i was heading to the dyno. it just died and got all the same tbs codes. is there any way the throttle body itself could be causing this issue.

TB is a known issue with Edelbrock e force superchargers. Call them, they will get you a new tb.

Think I may have already provided the info about the clocking in his install thread, but a quick test is to open the throttle body blade manually and if it does not "quickly" snap back into the the closed position, this could be part of your problem. If you find this to be an issue, let me know and I will elaborate on how to set the spring correctly.

it is clocked properly. it has the tiny gap when just sitting there and does spring back very quickly when manually opened. when i put in a new tps it will start & run properly w/o any codes. this last time i did this i made it about a mile before it died & all codes came back. i'd have to look again to see what they all were.

pretty much i just let it sit in the garage all winter. i just got sick of trying to figure it out with no answers to be found and can't afford to just take it to someone.

If it has never run right since installing it, I would have to say something is pinned wrong.

Make sure you call them, Do not post on their forum, It might take a few weeks for them to check it.

The only problem with mine was a short in the jumper to the tb motor, I hard wired it. Never had a issue afterwards.

Try this, Next time you clear the codes crank it and let it idle then put your hand on the wires and jiggle them, If it goes ape shit there you go.

bob,

I am having a similar problem on mine. It will run sometimes and then want to stall the next, normally once it warms up.

Called edelbrock, they were no help. I changed the TB electronics, no change. I have had 6 different tunes for it, still doing the same thing. Only at idle though or start up...when given gas it is fine.

Does this sound like anything you have experienced?
