not a damn thing, but that's sorta a good thing. i found a job that will be sending me out of the country for at least a year. while i'm gone the car will just go to a shop to figure it out and tune it.

update:

car went in and then directly to ford to have them reflash the ecu to stock and put a new battery in while there. were i home i'd probably go with a red top, but not going to ask a friend to worry about the brand of battery.

for some reason when i returned my car to stock last time it doesn't want to let the diablosport do anything. good thing is i'll know if the ecu is good and it will be definitely the stock tune. this should be done monday and then back to the tuner to see if the diablo will record the stock tune.

He's not gonna run the stock tune...any handheld saves your stock tune before you load a custom tune.

thank you,

went to the tuner and first thing they did was try to back up the stock tune to the diablo. the tuner wouldn't do anything. not very suprising since i'd been back and forth with an sct and diablo. with the sct i returned the car to the stock setting to unlock it so i could sell it. went to use the diablo and it wouldn't do anything. tuner suggested having ford reflash the ecu to the stock tune to ensure that it was for sure the stock tune and not something messed up through tuner swaps. thought it was pretty obvious that we weren't going to be attempting to run the car w/ sc'er and a stock tune. guess common sense isn't so common. either way i don't really care anymore what it's going to take. the car has been sitting in the garage since last Aug having tps issues and since getting a good paying job i'll let someone else figure it out.

update:

i've been keeping in contact with a buddy that is watching over the car since i'm out of the country. he said they ended up replacing the plugs and the tps connector. there was 1 wire in the connector that wasn't making contact. it is now running again and scheduled to be tuned on the 18th. i told him i'd like to keep it at 500 and there is a 3.5 pulley on the car and a 3.25 pulley in the car just in case.

any guesses on what the outcome will be. (maybe a blown motor....cough cough)

buddy i know with the same sc'er setup 3.5 pulley w/o any other mods got around 430. i would hope with heads/cams i'll be a good bit better than that.

As a point of reference, I am at 455RWHP with nothing more than the 3.5 inch pulley and GT500 pumps... and that is using the stock airbox.

Doogie I concur I'm at 430 with the stock pulley. Every .25" reduction on the pulley size seems to give an extra 25hp on a stock block. Without cams, headers, heads etc. the psi climbs pretty quick every .25" pulley reduction seems to add 2psi.

Don't know - I put the GT500 dual pump in mine.

Ditto on the TPS connector. I had the same issue. Unbeknownst to me, I bend down a pincher inside a female pin in that connector. I eventually found it, took the connector apart and bent the insides of that female pin to make a tighter pinch. No problems sense.

That TPS connector is a common problem apparently. It is REALLY easy to screw it up in the re-pinning process. I understand Edelbrock now understands this and changed the install kit to no longer require re-pinning the TPS connector.
