Since my rebuild I have had a rough time with my new tune. Jim and his dad are working it and I think got the shifting fixed but the car keeps shutting off. Here are the codes What do you think ?
P061
P2106
P446
I'm wondering if they forgot to turn the rear 02's off or if its something else. I have 2 new 02 sensors in...I double checked the part number with Fords on the sensors too...[even though something did not look right about them]
The other code is some evaporative code and the other looks like the MAF or something...I have the book on the codes but cant figure them out...need some help here guys

This is probably going to sound stupid but the P0446 code will happen in you have a loose gas cap. It will also happen if you did not hook the evap. emissions vent back up ( that piece on the drivers side shock tower ) or didn't seal it properly.

I couldn't find a match for the other two.. but the P2106 looks somewhat familiar. Seems like I have seen a P210X code before. Maybe related to the torque management if I remember right.

The P061 I could not find as a legit code anywhere so if you have the definition of that one post it up.

P061 (can be a or b) is a Vehicle speed sensor code...I had this happen to my car after the Saleen install with JDMS tune...resolved mine with a custom tune with VMP tuning
P2106 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited Power (failsafe)

OK the failsafe [little wrench that shut my car off] appeared when rolling into the throttle a little around 3500 rpms every time[3 times]
Jim III at JDM says the first 2 are asssociated with the fail safe...but I dont know what came first, the codes causing a problem and then the failsafe or the failsafe and then its AUTOMATIClly associated code [often reffferred to as sympathetic codes]
P061 HO2S Bank 2 sensor 3 heater resistance
P2106 ???my book only goes to 999 but #106 is MAP/BARO CKT Range/Perf
P446 EVAP emiisions control system vent circuit malfunction...but I dont know what that means for sure

Jim said he thought it might have to do with something on torque speed?????I did not understand what he meant? He says the wheel size and rear gears are correct in the tune. I have 2 new 02 sensors...

I'll check the thing on the fender/strut tower but it was never unplugged...that I know of..

is your car an 05 auto..if so I know of one other person on the other forum that is having the same issue. as you and I have had.....there is something in JDMs tune obviously that is causing this. So far it only is happening with 05 gt autos....unless yours is different..but it is definitely there tune..

I sent you a PM....as i stated earlier and I think thump just stated....2103 is the forced power reduction..failsafe mode...caused by the other codes...mine was a P061b,.,,,,hawgman will tell you I posted the same exact issues 2 weeks ago...it was in the tune....it could be your PCm not reacting well to the Traction control being turned off in the tune or something...

well it turns out that JDM believe that a recent release of software from SCT caused the problem with the 05 auto and every car they tuned with that BT3 computer code. Jim Sr and Jim Jr stayed on it hard today and we got the issue resolve after I tested a couple tunes in my car...so they are sending updates to those with problems...The car no longer goes into failsafe as best as I can tell and I tried hard to make it do it.

Hello I'm reviving this thread cause I'm getting the infamous P061 code.
So what was the solution in the end ?
How did you guys solve the problem at the time?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
