FYI, hardest part of install was getting the stock uca and tq mount off and out of D'S tunnel, but luckily I had it on a lift, highly recommend a lift that keeps load on wheels if possible

Mine had horrible wheel hop as well. I bought 285 tires on put them on a 9.5 inch rim; wheel hop pretty much has disappeared. A lot better grip as well. I don't know if it's the wider tire or the fact that I dropped almost 10 pounds off each wheel/tire combo from the stock rims and tires when I upgraded.

GTOs had the same issue except with its IRS, wheel hopping meant you were going to break an axle stub or halfshaft.

I had a 2005 GTO and had terrible wheel hop until I got some Nitto 555 drag radials. My next step was to get some drag bags, but the wheel hop more or less disappeared with the drag radials.

Now that my tires have worn down to slicks I don't get wheel hop anymore.

Bmr lca's pretty much solved my wheel hop. First was nt05's. Still there added the lca's for the most part gone. Uca is next for me

There are several ways to fix wheel hop on the 6M cars. I fixed mine with J&M lower control arms and BMR relocation brackets. Absolutely no wheel hop after those two adjustments.

I switched to BMR lowers and have not had any wheelhop issues since.

I had horrible wheelhop with my factory Brembo suspension. It was absolutely violent... Especially on the street.

I switched out my suspension to Steeda Ultralites and Koni Str.t shocks and struts with GT500 front mounts, and my wheelhop is completely gone. I even have ultra low-profile tires. (275/30/20 and 305/25/20 Hankooks) I haven't been back to the track yet to see if it hops there, but I've had zero wheelhop on the street.

I still have factory control arms.

Yes, stabilizing the rear axle more via shocks and springs will typically eliminate wheel-hop.

There are two ways; stabilizing axle OR increased traction.

Of course, the best is to do both.
