Trans cooler is for auto's. Never heard of one for a manual.

I put the boss trans cooler on mine too, I figure Ford did it for a reason!

The Ford Racing M-5025-MBR Transmission Cooler Air Scoop is one of the many neat parts that are factory issue for the 2012 Boss 302. Luckily it is a direct fit for your 2011-2012 Mustang 5.0L equipped with the MT-82 6-speed manual transmission. It replaces the lower chassis brace, or pencil brace, that bolts to the rear of the k-member. Keep that tranny cool with this super cooler scoop!
