one thing about a shaker is i had to take one off my friends the last Friday and it was a PITA but i didn't know what i was doing i had never looked at them with the mid set of taking it off. also i like the way the hood looks but i do not think it is worth the large price tag and when you relay get down to it it feels cheap to me. a cdc shaker was on my list of this to get but then after getting down and dirty with it i would not spend the money on it. why not just get a working ram air hood it would be way easier and you can sell the old hood instead of cutting a big ass hole in it.

I agree with the Shaker Comments..

Here is a Ranking on Hood Mods.
1) Shaker
2) Roush
3) California Special Hood Scoop
4) Shelby GT Scoop

Or just buy a Hood with a Scoop designed into it (Functional)

Shaker

I guess if you're the type to constantly change the look of your Mustang, I would say the Shaker is not for you. I can see how selling it off at some point might be a problem. I've had mine since '06 and love it. I have no intentions of selling it. It seems to be the centerpiece of my car. I've done other exterior mods but none seem to draw more attention than that Shaker. I'd love to install a really loppy cam in the car one day to really 'showcase' it.

I installed the Shaker Scoop two years ago and love the look and it is functional as well.

The fuse box cover and radiator cover, are stainless and the CAI air box and shock tower covers are aluminum. I did the "jewelling" on all the pieces and custom fabricated the air box and tower covers.
