I bought a used set of hot rod cams and I noticed that the part number engravings are different than the old hot rod cams I had last year.
I know both sets are hot rod cams per their manual but anybody knows why there are two different versions and what are the differences?
Here is the description from the manual.
a. RH camshaft p/n: XE-6251-309994 (between lobes) or 3701A (backside of last lobe)
b. LH camshaft p/n: XE-6C255-309995 (between lobes) or 3702A (backside of last lobe)
The ones I had last year had XE part numbers engraved between 1st and 2nd lobes. The ones I just got have 3701A, 3702A engraved on backside of last lobe.
