Hot rod cams rebuild startup?

I just rebuilt my entire motor from the bottom up and installed some hot rod cams in the process. I have the stock intake manifold and the stock headers. Is there anything that I should do/be worried about during my start up?

I will be getting a tune for the hot rod cam but I was curious if I could start it up without it for the time being.

It will probably start up just fine.

you will be fine, the hot rod cams are more for sound (hence no lock out or springs req.)
it might not run as good as it can with a tune , but no POC can happen because the cams arent an extreme profile.

now my mutha thumpers would be a different story as they do require loc outs
