Well I had finally installed my hot rod cams and love the way they sound and feel on the street! The only thing I'm seeing is that when I come to a stop the rpm dips down to 500rpms and catches itself and doesn't die. I had called brenspeed and asked them about their tune and they had told me to keep an eye on it and there shouldn't be any problem unless it dies. If that happens they will revise the tune and get it resolved. The computer may need to learn on driving habits is what I'm guessing. I also made sure to clean the throttle body. I don't have any check engine lights so that's a good sign. All in all I love it.
Thanks, Sal

Here's a idle vid.

My hot rods do that dip too, you can raise the idle to about 940 to get it to dip much less. (still sounds awesome btw)
Right now I am enjoying the idle at 790 RPM and knowing I have that dip I just rev a little more during low speed, it's supposed to improve over time.
It only happens with VERY light pedal actions.

It should improve. Does it also do it in 4th gear if you push the clutch in and let the rpms drop? How about another gear during normal driving?

More than likely it has to do with predicted airflow for idle via dashpot or isc idle. It can be a little tedious (at least for me) to get it just right. Luckily the adaptive learning should take care of it.

Thanks for all your replies. I haven't had a chance to drive it today and see how it acts but I want to see what happens with the ac on. I will also try in fourth and push in the clutch and see what happens.

Typical with HotRods and tuner can adjust air at idle to improve. I still have a slight dip with idle at 900 rpm's where I like it...Congrats and have fun !

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking of changing my axlebacks to either a set of fr500s or corsa even though the bassani race does sound really good with the Mac long tubes and pro chamber.

Just a tip for the dipping thing I noticed.
If you lightly touch the petal (1100-1500rpm) and make it try to dip over and over it dips less and less each time.
I did it for a while and I don't notice the dip anymore on light throttle.

Maybe that speeds up the learning?

I don't have any clips while driving I'll try and get one. I'll also try and tap the throttle from 1000-1500 and see what happens. The only thing is this shitty Chicago weather.
