I just got mine to work. Look in the security/alarm section in your owners manual. It will tell you how to program them. It's a combination of key cycles and biting the door lock button on the door. Good luck!

Thats the first time I've heard of a non 2005 car that could do it. Anyone else with something newer then 2005 that can do it?

I just read through my owners manual and there is nothing in there about this for a 2006, which bums me out. The map lights come on when unlocked, but nothing else happens. The parking lights just flash when I lock it. Would be nice to set it up to flash the lights or something when unlocking it, but oh well I guess.

Any car stereo shop can install and Alarm in your car that will have these types of features, including window roll up and down, car start/shut-down/turbo-timer, light flash, light on, etc.

I'll type the procedure from my owners manual. It was simple. Hope it works for you! (give me just a bit)

Okay, here goes: to start, all doors must be closed. Steps 1-3 must be completed within 30 seconds or you will have to start over.

1. Turn the igniting to the ON position then press thr unlock button (on the door) three times.
2. Turn the ignition to the OFF position then press the unlock button three times.
3. Turn the ignition to the ON position. The horn will chirp to indicate the driver configuration mode has been activated.

Activating or deactivating the perimeter lighting once in program mode is accomplished by: pressing the unlock button twice within 5 seconds. At this point, perimeter lighting will be off if it on, and on if it was off. Confirmation of it being activated is by a short horn chirp followed by a long horn beep.

That is pretty much verbatim out of the owners manual. And I typed it all on an iPhone so you guys know how much I love you. Lol. Hope it works for you guys! Good luck!
