Is it smog legal? With the pending legislation, it might be illegal to register in most states.

It uses stock cats from the 2012 gt so yes it's smog legal. Can't imagine anything about it being illegal, can DD anywhere in comfort with vehicle inspection done with ease.

I see 2011-2012 GTs listed for $15k-$20k in my area (Oklahoma), including one 2012 with 73k miles for $19k.

A year or two ago, I feel that your ceiling would have been around $12k-$15k. However, with the way the market is these days, I think you could list it for $20k. Either you'll get inquiries or you won't, but it doesn't hurt to try. If you don't get any offers, then you always have the option of waiting longer or lowering the price.

Personally, I would rather have a swapped '07 than a '12, as I much prefer the 2005-2009 body. If I were to purchase a car with the swap already done, then I would want to see details of the job and preferably talk to the person that did the work.

Truthfully I wouldn’t pay more than 13- 15k while you are coyote swapped you also have to take into consideration the cost of an 11+ mustang which around me is ~17k so I would imagine 3k more than the average price of an 07 by you unfortunately dropping 10k in a mod almost never gets the money back

Lots and lots of "Pulled Assemblies" in Junkyards for $7500. Some have 100,000 miles on them. If you watch Junkyard Empire on TV, they are ready to wait 20 years for their price.
