......I'm probably kicking 500whp in the ass now and she's my DD.

I'm probably in the 550 range......

when I was in the 550 range it drove like it was stock.

Same issue here. Drivability issue is tune related and reliability is also a concern. If we can get the low rpm dialed in for stop and go traffic my car would be perfect.

That is exactly where I am at with mine. It's the light tip in low RPM range where mine is picky. Hell, if I could take off at 2 grand from every stop I wouldn't complain about it. But that just isn't an option most of the time in inner city driving.

That's why Turbos Rock! Keep your foot out of the gas and its like it isnt even there. Although my fox doesnt have A/C, thats the only real reason I dont drive it much in the summer time. Other than that, I can drive it all over SETX.

See if you can tap the next size smaller 12 point socket on.

tried this last night and it wanted to round it out still. was going to try a remover i have for rounded off bolts but its made for a socket to go over it and its then too bid to fit in the hole. going to try to find one made for a 3/8 ratchet and see what happens i guess.

may have to try that, just dont want the socket to end up stuck to the head lol

Where do you set the boost at on the street?

If I'm just driving around usually on stage 2, but if I'm going to race someone it'll range from 1-4 depending on the other car. Stage 1 is about 650-700 then add 100hp per stage.

I'm a little over 500 and other than tune related it drives perfectly. I would like to build it to be about 600 to the wheels and it would be perfect, anymore and I think it would be pointless since I don't think I could ever get it to hook.

No 700 here, but I often question why I even have the power I have. The car drives like a stock car, but the power isnt useable on the street at all. Even after the car hooks then you're talking speeds way above the limit lol...

I thought about this the other day, how many times do I even give it more than half throttle? Hardly ever. Full throttle...hardly ever and I now have 20'' Nitto DR's now and they dont hook.

Im rambling, but the power doesnt make sense, however I love it!

My car makes 740whp on pump gas and is very driveable. I retired it from DD service only because doing 170+ on the track without a cage is a bad idea. I didn't want to live with a road race style cage everyday so now it's a race car with plates that gets some street use. However, if I wanted, I could drive it across the country without any issues and it got around 20-22 MPG on the highway with 4.10's. It has 3.31's in it now and I'm thinking about installing 3.08's. I bet it would get mid 20's on the interstate now. I have 127550 cams and they were a bitch in traffic until I got the tune sorted out and raised the idle to a 1000 RPM's. Now they are fine in traffic, The unsprung clutch disc is not very fun in traffic though.

1 3/4 over 1 7/8?
.
SVT, Kooks, & my tuner all said 1 3/4", all gave the same reason, the motor needs some back pressure for low end toruqe.
( & there is no cost difference between 1 3/4 & 1 7/8", per Kooks )
.
.....older dyno, but it has a torque curve.

My car runs and drives just like stock. Except the extra noise lol. I get 18mpg around town and 22-23 on freeway.
