2005-09 MUSTANG PARK LIGHT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

How To: Install 2005-09 Mustang Front Bumper Park Lights
Read along as Latemodel Restoration walks you through a step by step install of the direct replacement park lights on the 2005-09 Mustang.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
- Flat-Head Screwdriver
- Phillips-Head Screwdriver
- 10mm Socket
- 3/4" Socket
- Pliers
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Remove the 6 plastic push pins from the radiator cover.
- Remove the radiator cover and set aside.
- Remove the 2 10mm bolts holding the bumper pillar in place.
- Pull the pillar up and to the front of the car to release the tabs.
- Remove the three phillips-head screws that hold the splash shield to the bumper.
- Remove the push pin holding the splash shield in place and pull the splash shield back.
- Remove the two bolts holding the bumper to the bumper bracket.
- Do the same for the other side.
- Pull down on the bumper to release it from the bracket.
- Once free, move the bumper forward and release the fog light and park light conenctions.
- Remove the bumper and set aside.
- Carefully squeeze the two retainers holding the park light in place and remove the park light.
- Twist the bulb retainers counter clockwise to release them from the housing.
- Remove the bulbs and replace with the new bulbs in the kit.
- Reinstall your bulb retainers into your new park lights.
- Slide your new park light into the front notch in the bumper and snap the park light onto the retainers.
- Reinstall your bumper making sure to connect your harnesses to the bulb assemblies.
