I paid $179 for this part from CJ Pony Parts. Some shop (JVC? forget the name) makes a steel braided line in-house that they can sell for much cheaper. I have more confidence in the FRPP part over a shop-made part.

I'd trust a piece that's hand made in America anyday over a FRPP piece that's machine made, possibly overseas.

I believe the FRPPline is part metal tube and part braided, where as the JPC line is fully braided line. FRPP line would be preferred over the JPC since it is part metal tube.

You know you can just buy hydraulic metal line and bend it yourself right?

There is no way around the fact that the FRPP is a little costly for what you get.

Pretty sure I could not bend a ridged metal tube without kinking it.

I've wasted a hell of a lot of money going cheap routes. Didn't want to do that here with what's at stake. The JPC part may be just fine. I went with where I felt most comfortable.
