New guy from Orlando here. I've owned my 2006 4.0 Mustang for 5 years and just made my last payment. It's time to rip out the V6, the tranny, and the rear end for a 5.4 or trade her in for a new 5.0 GT.
I am a Harley Davidson certified mechanic but no longer do it for a living, just wrench on my own bike when needed. I'm currently in the process of tearing my 1996 Dyna apart for a complete facelift. When it's done nobody would ever guess it's a Dyna from over 10 feet away. It will be a hardcore oldschool bobber. Bikes I can handle but I'm smart enough to know my limitations. I don't think I can tackle a full drivetrain swap on my car alone and can't afford to be without it for very long. So, I'm hoping to meet some new friends here that can help me decide which way to go. I hear tell that a Tampa based member here can source wrecked GT500's and swap everything over for a reasonable amount of cash. This would be ideal for me.
