A money printing press in the trunk instead of a money vacuum under the hood.

a 1 piece driveshaft that didn't clank and clunk and sound like the undercarriage is falling out.

1 piece spark plugs that go in and out without a 6 hour marathon of; spray, wait, 1/4 turn, spray, wait, 1/4 turn removal process.

A fuel evap system that doesn't have an every 25,000 mile crack built in.

a shifter that is actually part of the trans.

an aluminum hood that doesn't corrode from the inside out.

a electrical management computer that isn't in the path of a water torrent.

a fuel tank that you could put the nozzle in and pull the trigger to fill it instead of becoming a contortionist trying to hold the nozzle at just the right upside down, to the left or to the right angle so gas will go in.

For starters.

if you ask mean71cuda (remember that little plonker?):

"if all my hopes and dreams come true for my car it will be a one of a kind without having to throw down 40 grand to make it "its own car"

well i decided to show all of my fellow myspace stangers what i hope to accomplish with my 07 V6 s197 mustang

1: engine- her "heart" is obviously the first problem i mean don't get me wrong i loved it when i had my turbos on it but they wur causing to many problems so im basically gonna rip out her 4.0L V6 and replace it with a cobra engine (teksid) inside that engine is gonna be best of the best aka the highest strength lightest pistons, rings, rods, crank, pins, cams, valves, valve springs, and all the little parts.. im hoping to make a streetable twin turbo 1000whp someday i wont settle for 990whp and i dont care for 1010whp i wanna hit atleast 1000whp on a dyno run..

2. trans- seeing as how i dont really know to much about transmissions i will go into hibernation on that one till i can find the strongest lightest 6 speed that can take me to 200mph without rubbing on the redline or blow up..

3. driveshaft- her driveshaft will be a one piece highest grade aluminum..

4. rear end- her rear is obviously gonna be a fat ford 9" but heres the kicker.......its gonna be an IRS rear with all new and high grade components 31 splines will most likely do the job but if not i will go higher and i will also be joining the 3.73 gear club seeing as how 4.56s would make 200mph pretty damn hard and 3.31's wouldn't quiet be any fun..

5. suspension- her suspension is gonna be coilover all the way around 1 1/2" lower than stock in front and 2" lower than stock in the back

6. wheels/tires- her wheels are gonna be black 5 spoke 18" with chromed lips all the way around 9"front and either 12" or 14" in the back.. tires are gonna be nitto's 275-40-18 in the front and most likely 315/330-45-18 in the rear

7. body- her body is obviously gonna have to have a wide body kit and i will also going for a super duck tail (not a 2 foot drag race but pretty out there) don't know to much about fiber glass or carbon fiber so ill have to sit on that till i got some more info

8. interior- her interior is pretty much gonna get ripped out and replaced with light weight sheets of fabric : p and the seats will be replaced with hand made aluminum race ready seats with my own design for the padding (i got a bad back) *shrugs* as for the back seats--> who honestly uses the back seats in a mustang? it literally says in the brochure that there meant for "small children" so they're gonna and replaced by braces i will also have a roll cage placed in not exactly sure how many points i can go and have it streetable but its gonna have time and care taken on it seeing as how i love being alive and ive seen roll cages crumble cause of improper building so yea thats a "biggy" and as for my steering wheel its gonna be as thin and smooth as possible.... as my fellow s197 owners know the stock steering wheel makes u feel like ur driving the car with a frisbee with 2 holes cut in it for your thumbs.. i want to be able to grab my steering wheel!!! XD

9. electronics- her "brain" and wiring will not be touched by me since i really don't care for computers and wiring.. so im gonna have to find some company that can do exactly what is needed to have her running "tip top" without over heating cause a bad wire told my comp that my engine was still cold.. as for gauges im goin all out on the passenger dash water temp, trans temp, incoming air temp, tire psi gauge (for all 4), boost, fuel pressure, oil pressure, battery, etc drivers dash will be ripped out and replaced with proper gauges aka i aint into a big bubble tac hangin in the middle of my dash the rpms will read to 10,000 and the speed will read to 220mph

10. paint- yea buddy buddy rollin like a big shot ford tuned up like a race ready speed shop.. custom paint job.. stripped inside.. are the rear tires 20" wide? are the rims light? do it ride ruff? strap up right hand on the boost knob-ice cream paint job (remix)-ricky ;) hahahahahaah but on the real im gonna desigin and do my own paint (by hannnd) ;)

.

how am i gonna replace my 4.0L with a teksid?
what am i gonna need to build this teksid bullet proof?
how would i make 1000whp with twin turbos and what size turbos would i need?

what 6 speed is out there that i can use that is light strong and can pull me to 200mph without blowing up?

where can i find a driveshaft for this build?

where can i find a 9" irs that would work with this build that is strong reliable and suitable for the track/turns?

what suspension set up would be low profile and stable enough to pull a 1G turn and hook on the 1/4?

say i wanted 18" 5 spoke rims.. what size would be best for the front and rear? and what tires would u suggest?

where can i find a company that does carbon body parts that would suit my cars needs seeing as how my rims will be wide and the car will sit low?

which company makes thin aluminum seats for my mustang? who can i contact to make my roll cage? and who can i contact to make my custom gauges for my driver side setup?

who does top notch work for ECU's and such? i need a top of the line pro..

i will be doing the paint myself.. what would be the best company to go for when choosing my paint?

MY MAIN POINT IN THIS IS TO MAKE A MUSTANG THAT LOOKS REAL GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE AND HANDLES BUSINESS INSIDE.. I WANT A STREET LEGAL S197 MONSTER THAT RUNS WITH THE BEST IN THE QUARTER AND ON THE AUTO X TRACK.. ITS GONNA BE TOUGH AND TAKE TIME BUT IN THE END I WILL HAVE SOMETHIN THAT MY SON CAN ROLL TO HIGHSCHOOL IN FOR HIS PROM AND REPRESENT THE "GOOD LIFE".. BTW I AINT GONNA BE USING THIS CAR WHEN IM 60 YRS OLD I DONT HAVE TO MUCH RESPECT FOR STREET RACIN 40-60 YR OLDS.. U CANT RECAPTURE YOUR YOUTH IN A CAR BUT U CAN ENJOY UR YOUTH IN IT..............

hit me up if u got any comments or interest or just wanna to help in the "making of a real life monster"

Same wheels I have, but in 19s instead of 18s and 10" wide in the back (should have went staggered)

DRs

Turbo or good SC with IC

A button that I can push that will make the thing instantly as clean when I'm driving it as it is in my garage.

All of the above, and I'd never dream of selling it, lol

Hell, that's not too bad of a want list. I guess I'm pretty happy with what Ford did with our cars. Can't think of much to change.

Manual trans instead of auto (or at least no 3->2 downshift clunk grr!)
Sound like the engines of the 60's
Comfortable seats (the '95 V6 I drove had awesome cloth seats)
400+ cubes
