Idle issues with cams...tuning help please.

for the most part it's okay but at times mine seems to search for idle especially when hitting it light throttle like in the staging lanes or in a parking lot. it will rev up a little then down then sometimes shut off but if i leave my foot off the throttle it will eventually smooth out.
any ideas on where to begin

Get a custom tune, if u have a tuner you can up your idle for a temp fix.

this was a cut from a thread i started, mostly for myself it seems.. i used the terms irratic idle in the search forum option.

it was a dirty throttle body! electronic throttle body motor was not bad.. it was fighting with carbon! take the throttle body off, swing the butterflies to WOT, and clean the little ring of carbon around the edge of each hole. three or four hits of brakleen and a toothbrush or similiar solved my problems completely!

no more low idle, irratic idle, hunting idle, chasing idle, stalling, check engine lights or any of the who-ha i went thru after installing my FRPP hot rod cams.

the tune was fine
