I ordered the longer studs but got a package containing the exact same studs as the kit came with. It was labeled as being for the frpp and ta performance cover.

I also talked to Chuck. He advised me to back the studs out enough for proper thread engagement of the nuts. He also said they use the same studs for a standard, frpp, and ta cover.

He offered to round up some longer studs but I'll just get some locally at a fastener store.

That's odd....When I got the kit with my LPW cover the studs were longer for the bottom. I wouldn't see the FRPP/TA cover being any different although they have recesses where the bolts typically go. Being the bottom of the brace mounts on the oustide of the cover it would still require longer studs.

Anyway, when it comes to suspension and drivetrain, I prefer to go overboard so I don't have to worry about breaking anything. I have the Strange 9" in my Fox because it's my play car, but I'm still rocking the 8.8" in my '06. If I do decide to build a rear end for my '06, it'll get a Strange 9" too.

I'm no engineer but it looks like it does the exact same thing as the CHE brace, but in a less solid manner? UPR has run them without issues so it must work to some extent. The CHE brace is more of a triangle bracing and I like triangles.

From experience, some advice.

If you use a 15x10 drag wheel and try to combine all of that with swaybar relocation brackets, there will be some rather large fitment issues. I get to find out this weekend if the swaybar setup I now have will work with the axle brace/relocation brackets, etc. and if not, what has to be modified to make it work.

I'll try to post some pictures as I go.

CHE brackets, sway bar relocation and CHE axle brace with 15 X 10's will require bending the swaybar out on both ends aprrox 3/4" to clear the brackets. Is that what you are speaking of?

Yeah. I did a lot of research, and found a few of your posts and pictures. I appreciate you taking the time to do that, it helped a lot. I'm not bending the swaybar, though.

I found a bolt-on solution, with 0 clearance issues. In fact with this setup, purchasing sway bar relocation brackets becomes unnecessary. I'll post up some pictures and a thread when I find time this week.
