Willy your best bet will be to find the Magnaflow system used. Or look into Granitelli if you want to risk the nightmare, theirs is the cheapest around. I'm using the magnaflow 3" too, it does sound great.

All in all with your custom build you could probably fab yourself up some 3" pipes

Doesn't GMS make a whole 3" system for our cars that isn't too expensive? I had the "Magnapack" 3" and sold it due to droning. Really nice exhaust though, especially for a turbo setup. The "Magnaflow" is only available in a 2.5".

Edit: Here is a link to an all 3" system from GMS http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/product_display.php?gid=14
You are correct , but this is why we reffer to it as Magnaflow 3" while they are Magnapack mufflers http://dagostinoracing.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=16330

Can you let me know when you get them. As long as yours come as advertised, I think I am going to order this as well. Hey Pete, and videos/soundclips of yours?

Sorry I dont have many video's of the car , this was taken by the guys at Torq, the day after we tuned it , at the end of the video you can hear the exhaust when I leave the line. Its very quite and has a deep tone .
That is the only video I have, the pass was a shakedown run on low boost , no boost off the line .

One Eyed Willie,

I sent him an offer of $350. Figured I'd give it a shot.

Pete,

Who made the number plumbing on your hellion kit. All the charge pipes in front of the throttle body look different.

Pete,

What have you run so far at PBIR?

Havent made a full pass yet , been out twice , ran on 14 psi's .
On my 20" wheels with zero boost of the line the car ran a 12.15 @ 128.40 .

Car got a 2.3 60ft , did not spin tire just left very lazy since I didn't use the TB . On that run realized that the car would shift into 3rd almost at the end of the 1/4 because I was eating up a good 60 to 80 ft of track with no real accelaration.

Im going back in like too weeks with my New Bogart wheels and tires , should be able to finally get some wide open runs in which will help me set up the shift points , and see if I need more gear or a looser converter.

Im sure the car will run in the 140s at 20 plus psi's once I figure it all out.

As far as the plumbing I had Performance Power LLC fab it up , the only thing thats different in my kit is the pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body is 3" with a PMAS meter blow thru set up . The intake pipe cold side is just a 4" pipe wrapped with a K&N Filter.

Hmm. Ok. It certainly looks a lot better then the stock plumbing.

Im sure you know a blow thru meter is better for tuning , I went to 80# injectors and decided to modify my hellion kit. Everything worked out great , well back to the topic didn't mean to hijack the thread .

The Magnaflow 3" SS kit really does sound great.

Paul let us know how you like it once installed.

Pete
