Whats all done to the car? Do you have lowering springs, upgraded strut mounts/camber plates, aftermarket struts....etc.?

Sounds like its still out of alignment

yup. that'll happen when you lower it. Still out of alignment, or perhaps "within spec" of -1.5*, but that could be too much and wearing out your tires.

My front end camber has been off since I lowered it. I like it like that though. Handles crisply diving into a corner. I flip my tires on the rims about every 10K miles to even out the wear a bit. They still won't last as long as they're supposed to but you can get a few more mile out of them doing it that way. Or just fix the camber.

make sure ur toe is in spec, flip the tires so that the other edge is on the inside and ur golden.

camber wears, but toe kills.

Sure the car wasn't wrecked? That seems pretty odd. Take it to a differant shop. I'm lowered 1.6 in the front with only camber bolts for adjustment and get 25-30k out of my fronts.

they should have know if it was wrecked. You can tell as soon as you go to do your camber caster sweep on the machine. i would take it back have them realign it and tell them you want a before and after print out.

If your tires are not unidirectional, then you can also rotate them in an X-pattern every 5K miles to even out the inner tread wear(and any feathering).

my wife's 06 is at stock ride height in front and does the same thing. Take it to a GOOD alignment shop and have them set it. The dorks at meineke/midas/jippylube/Fredstireandfarmimplement look at a chart and follow instructions. They aren't mechanics.

This doesn't help, because the inside of the tire is still on the inside. Only way to actually help is to flip the tire.

My car does the exact same thing, also has the same wear characteristics. I have 18K miles and the inside 2 inches of the tire is almost to the chords.

I had Ford do an alignment last summer and it is well within spec. I did have to have one camber bolt installed to get it right. I guess there is not much I can do.

Rotate your front tires to the rear, and vice versa (if you have a square setup) to spread the uneven wear across all 4 tires. The rear has no camber, so it should help the outer part of the tire catch up to the inner part.
