I got my kit few days ago, started install today.
I noticed that my stock strut is much longer than "Strut - S197 Track Pack". Do I extend it to be the same length as stock strut?

thanks, just talked to tech support earlier this morning, was told the same thing
Also, I am missing few parts so I have to talk to vendor I placed order with (I asked for pancake tank, which I received but all connectors are for regular tank).
Thanks Jeremy with helping me with my tank issue.
New question. I got strut installed, but it looks lower with wheel installed and lifted than stock on the ground. Main reason why I bought this kit was to be able to lift one inch higher than stock (like it says on the site) to be able to clear my driveway without scrapping. Just want to make sure I am installing it right because the way it looks I dont think I will be able to lower my car without hooking up my air lines and inflating airbags.
I guess I need bigger wheels, lol
right now wheel is about half inch higher than side body trim.
What would you recommend for clearance when dropped to the ground?
I am thinking about extending struts by 1.5"
No there is no adjustment on the rear shocks. The rear bags hold up the back of the car up, not the shocks. There should be no issue of the body kit hitting the ground in the rear. The rear does not go as low as the front because of the way Ford designed the suspension.
sorry, taking my time, plus its been cold (Minnesota winter).
Anyways, I got .5" clearance after extending struts by 2".
Going to keep it at this setting for now and start working on the rear.
BTW, I did receive parts for pancake tank (Thank you!) but center plug is still too big to fit in the tank. I have been looking on your website and its listed as 1/8 but it looks like I received 1/4.
Got rear done. I did not cut jounce bumper, when dropped wheel are touching fenders. I think if do cut it wheels will push out fenders when car is dropped. What do you think Jeremy?
Going to check local hard ware store to see if I can find that 1/8" plug so I can continue with my tank install
Hope to have it ready for testing by tomorrow.
whats the easiest place to tap into ignition source? instruction says that it can be fuel pump. I have rear seats out and I see fuel pump wires, would you happen to know what wire to use?
