Finally got my trunk done.

Carpet is glued to center board, used .5" board that seems to work great.

I have 3 parts. Sides with extended support for middle section. Middle section has carpet glued to it so I can just cover sites (just like stock board was).

btw, finishing trunk cut the compressor noise in half, still thinking about adding dynomat to the bottom of the floor since I have few extra sheets.

yea thats basically how mine is done, the edges have lips that support the center foldable section i put in.
i just used pegboard and reinforced it with some aluminum channel i had laying around, feels pretty sturdy, may change it some other time but its fine for now :D

and yea putting more carpet and structure around it in the trunk cut down on the noise, but my problem is vibration, it sends it right through the body and you can feel it on the entire car.
gonna have to get some isolators to mount it to and see if thatll help

There is no vibrations on mine that I could feel. It could be because I have dynamat installed.

I have noticed that my rear driver side is close to 1" lower than passenger. Any way to correct this?
