Installed LT's and catted H pipe, now have trumpeting....clips

My friends and I installed my pypes long tubes, h pipe, hf cats this past weekend. After getting some pipe fabbed in to hook up the spintech mufflers (they came with the car) I now notice I have trumpeting.

Inside the car it sounds so much worse than in the video. I let my friend drive the car and realized its much worse in the car. Here are some clips for you to comment on.

First clip, partial throttle on takeoff then full throttle. I wanted to minimize wheel spin so the exhaust could be heard. Trumpeting is not as noticeable at full throttle in the car....., starts about 10 second mark.

The video clips really do not show how loud the trumpeting is in the car. Its way louder and annoying IMO. I plan to do cams next, what do you guys recommend to get rid of the trumpets? Borla stingers or magnaflow axle backs? Dynomax resonators? My friend doesnt think its bad at all. Looking for some opinions. Thx

I had JBA longtubes, off road h-pipe and Mac mufflers, and the sound was awesome and loud EXCEPT for the trumpeting. Finally couldn't take it any longer and got Magnaflow mufflers. It's pretty quiet at idle and cruise but opens up fine at WOT, and no trumpeting.

Put the Macs on my GF's car, with Kooks longtubes and catted x pipe. They sound fine with that configuration.

Stingers with an o/r h will trumpet. 94tbird had that set-up and said it would trumpet. He added 12" resonators and said it got rid of most of the trumpeting. He recommended 18". I would try 12" resonators first and see if those help.
You thought the L/T, H pipe and magnaflows were too quiet?

Let me clarify. The first vid was real quiet but the second one with the camera pointing backwards mounted on the rear deck or something sounded real good. For some reason I didnt realize he had LT's with an h pipe. When he jumped on it, it was nice.

When doing the vids yesterday I was really surprised at how much more the trumpeting sound was pronounced inside the car vs outside.

I don't think it sounds that bad on the video but you do say it's worse in person. I would try the resonators.

Thanks guys. After running two tenths faster @ the track I am keeping this setup for now. It does drone a lot at 1800 rpms though. I can live with it.....but my gf hates it. Lol
