Hey guy's I have a vortect SC I will be installing on a 2013 GT.

I have a boss oil cooler installed right now, Will the lines for the oil cooler be a problem with the pipe's?

Also I have an aluminum radiator that's seems a little bigger than stock but bolts on in all the stock location. I'm interested in a slim fan, can you guys please post a link of what slim fan you guys are using.

Any other tips are welcome please. Parts that I might need.
I have the T-bolt clams and tial Q 50mm elbow kit.

As far as the fan goes; I am still using the factory fan but would have loved to free up a little room with a slim fan like the procharger guys run. It's definitely a tight fit with everything in there

To do it right, you should also cut the oil cooler lines and shorten them, then reattach with worm clamps.

GET A SLIM FAN!

Read all of my posts in this thread, and you'll be golden. lol. ;-)

Started installing my Vortech kit this weekend and I already hate the factory fan, anyone running a aftermarket fan and which on if you are.
Also here is a pic of my setup.

Nobody wants to listen to ole Gizmo...:chainsaw:

This thread should be required reading for all Paxton/Vortech owners. Oh, you're about to install a kit? Did you read this thread? No? Do push ups until I'm tired.....

Push-Ups are for teh bitches, get some 8 Count Push-Ups!

Instead of slim fan, I will probably be going with the GT500 fan. I've read it's slimmer than ours, from what I have read, and it definitely flows more air. Plus, it's a Ford OEM part, so it won't look out of place or ugly. If it has to be trimmed, so be it, it's not hard to make it look good if you take your time.
