What's up guys, my name is Justin. I have always been a die hard Mustang guy owning 6 foxbody Mustangs. I am a bigger guy so the foxes weren't very comfortable for me but I loved them. One day I was just driving around in a car lot and saw a Torch Red 2006 Mustang GT. I fell in love. I never sat in one so I test drove it and it handled good, decently powered, and was comfortable! So I didn't leave the lot without it. A month later it had Saleen wheels and a Roush body kit. Come to find out, the power wasn't enough. I purchased an On3 performance kit. The kit was great besides the turbo, I purchased a Comp ball bearing turbo and put it on, boost came on hard. The car put down 460/425 to the wheels on 10lbs on a Mustang Dyno. Later that summer I was planning on upgrading the wastegate and BOV, but I was too late. The wastegate spring shot s**t and the boost shot up and pegged my 30lb boost Guage and toasted my motor. Shot the rods out the side of the block. So I purchased a stock motor and dropped it in and left it. I then bought MT et streets and 4.10 gears, short throw shifter and left it alone. :) car put down 274/284 on a mustang dyno. So I'm happy with the car being stock. With a driver mod of course. Thanks for the add to the group.

Welcome ... time to pull the stock motor, forged internals and turn up the boost on that bitch and make some serious steam!

Thanks guys. Future plans include building a stroker motor either for spray or I'll go with a blower. The turbo game wore me out and had bad luck in the past and it seemed to be a dirty look compared to a blower. I will post pictures when I get off work.

Awesome! Excited to see how the build goes, either way. :thumb2:

That Ford Racing 5.0 stroker shortblock is pretty damn good and a bunch of members have had some good success with it. If you search the part number here you can find some threads on. Just some food for future thought.
