Some of us work, only reason I can see the thread is the wireless from the oil rig company. Would be nice to have my tunes ready for me when I do get home.

I'm leaving work for the rest of the afternoon.

If you can, please email [email protected] and tell them I(chris young) told you that they could have your tunes sent out ASAP.

I apologize for any inconvenience

Sorry for the old thread bump, but I'm curious what the rwhp gain is with the series 3 intake and tune on an otherwise stock car?
Also, to anybody who was running a different intake(series 2, C&L, etc.), do you feel this intake and new tune was an upgrade in terms of performance? Any before and after 1/4 mile times?

Thanks guys.

You can expect to see about 25whp from the JLT/tuner combo, which is definitely a great increase over stock!

We upgraded our car from the C&L to the series3 and though I haven't personally put them on the dyno consecutively, I can say the series3 feels better in the mid-top range of the RPM band.

I hope this helps!

Please let me know if you have any questions in the future!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the reply! Any idea if my 08 Bullitt would see similar gains? I'm not sure how that works since it has the FRPP CAI/tuning and a higher redline from the factory.
My next question is a little off topic. When you tune for an O/R H pipe do you make any tweaks other than turning off the rear o2's? If so, would it be possible to order a tune that keeps the secondary o2's turned on? I did the non-fouler trick so I don't have a CEL and I want to keep the o2's on for inspections.

We can definitely do that for you!

I would recommend calling a Tuning Specialist to place your tuner order and to submit your tunes with, however, as they will need to know that information so they can keep the rear o2s on. You can reach them directly M-F9am-530pm EST at 888-226-9764.

As for the performance on your bullitt, you will see very similar gains with the JLT unit as it flow better and makes more power than your FRPP unit on your bullitt.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future!

Just ordered the series 3/sct combo package! The next few days are going to be very long, lol.
I decided to just get the normal tune for the intake and offroad H without requesting that the rear o2's stay on as I had asked about. I'll just swap the stock H back in each year since I'd be too paranoid going for inspection with 1960's emissions pumping out of my tailpipes, lol. Since I get the Free Tunes For Life, I plan to re-tune for the stock H when inspection time comes around and then immediately afterwards re-tune again for offroad H. I'll be adding more tune required bolt-ons so using the stored stock settings isn't an option that I'd want to consider. LMK if there are any flaws in my plan.
On a side note, I just want to mention that I have wanted a Bama tune ever since I started researching S197's. That was about 3 years before I bought my Mustang. It's an amazing feeling to finally be waiting for my order!

That's so awesome! Thank you for posting and for your support/patronage! I promise you it will be everything you have anticipated and more!

As for your plan, it seems to be fool-proof, but when were you inspected last? If you were recently inspected and have some time(8+months) to run around with the off-road H pipe, I would just keep the o2 sensors off until then. This will keep your CEL off. A month or so before your inspection is due, swap back to the stock H and get a performance tune(with whatever parts you have added between now and then) that utilizes the stock h pipe. This will pass emissions no problem. Then just swap the mid-pipe back, throw in the race tune and you'll be good to go! This will prevent lots of confusing parts swapping/tune swapping and will minimize the "down-time" of having a "slow"(just slower than a race tune) tune or a stock tune. Our Street and Performance tunes will pass emissions, so there is no need to go completely back to stock if you don't want to.

I hope this helps! Good luck! Please contact me directly if you have an further questions in the future! Have a great night!

:highfive: I actually have 9 months until I have to worry about inspection. Good to know that I could store a performance tune for the cats, and a race tune for the offroad H. That'll make it alot easier in the long run.
Thanks again for all your help!

The intake/tune is amazing! I really like that this combo gives more than just power, although the car does pull really hard now! I could go into detail about the increased drivability, power delivery, aesthetics, and things that I didn't expect that were nice surprises, but the reason I came here was to post my dyno sheet!

My mods are the JLT Series 3 intake/tune(93Race), Pypes O/R H, mid-mounted Magnapacks on stock 2.5 exhaust, and gutted GT mufflers(lol, will replace shortly with PypeBombs).

Can't wait to get this thing back on the 1/4 mile!
Thanks again to AmericanMuscle! I could not be happier with this purchase!

That's such a great review! I'm really glad to hear that you are so pleased with the intake/accompanying tune! We really appreciate the support/patronage and especially for you to take the time to post that! It's definitely at the top of the list for best intakes for the 2011+ models! You are right, the performance is the main reason to get it, but the fit/finish/look/quality are top notch and just make the intake that much better.

Keep us update and let us know how you do at the track! We love hearing about how much faster people go and how much happier they are with the car as a result! Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions/inquiries in the future! Thanks again!

Now you guys have me wanting the 3. I love the 2 but the 3 looks much better too. But first I have to wait till after the first of Feb when I get my hot rods and 4.10's.

The series3 is a fantastic improvement over the series2 and is definitely worth the money. Whether you do it now or later, you certainly won't be disappointed! Shoot me a PM and let me know if you need the discount code for those purchases!

Have a great afternoon!
