Jpc Longtubes on. TOO LOUD!

So I got my jpc longtubes on. PITA but if feels good on the butt meter. This thing is extremely loud.

My exhaust consists of the longtubes and hushpower cat back. The hushpower is 3". I need some resonators and was wondering if anyone ran these or has any experience with them.

Ill get one. I didnt want to do the sit and rev but might have to because of the rocksalt on the roads around here.

Mine are 1 3/4" as well.

May be better off/easier switching to a chambered muffler and selling the flows. Maybe go back to the stockers or go GT500 cans...they can both be had relatively cheap.

Nice enough that as soon as my friend saw them on the car he bought a set. I bought these because of the reputation of the company and that these headers do not require the purchase of a mid pipe. I like that they bolt right up to the factory location.

Also you may want to look into our JPC axleback system or a chambered muffler to muffle it a little better

Really...hmm...only thing I can think of that woud require removing LT's would be a........turbo?

I have a similar issue and I tried putting resonators on but all they did was get rid of the rasp when I'm in boost but really didn't quiet the car down. Chambered mufflers are the way to go if you want to quiet it down.

I ran those very same mufflers on my car. Definitely cleaned the tone up, no more rasp/pop and it did quiet it down some. Not a lot, but a noticeable amount.

I ran them as resonators. I had them with a set of Pypebombs and they sounded great. Before that, I ran a set of GTB's with the midmounted reso's, sounded great!
