i just bught the same car, dont get to pick it up until monday though..but mine has 3.55's, if your having problems hooking up, id say tires would be the first "mod".. what rpm were you launching at? double clutching? power shifting?. i will be getting fatty's and skinnes ASAP!

practice

Launch with the clutch, not with the throttle. Never dump it on stock tires at any RPM, you'll just spin. Keep practicing and you'll get the 60' to under 2 no prob

What was your rear tire pressure? MPH is good for 12's.

you had the stock tires at 15psi? there lies your problem

put 28-30 in them and they would hook better, its not designed to have lower pressure and will actually hurt the tires performance.

First, as another member said, practice practice practice and launch with the clutch, feel the car. If you are on the 19" pirelli's, try 20-25 psi. Also, shift at 6400 rpm and use 5th gear. Here in S. Fl, the weather has been very hot and humid and I managed a 12.7@109.

Here's the deal, the car has like a 2 stage limiter, the first one comes in at ~6500 rpm and it closes the throttle slightly or something, the other one comes in at 6850 rpm and it's the traditional fuel cut limiter. I tried passing in 4th the first pass and I felt it slow down at the big end and it went 107, next pass I used 5th and it went 109. Don't be afraid, 5th is like butter if you haven't already tried.

Leave street tires at street pressure.

k cool thx guys espically to lethal performance i really apprecaite you commenting on here on what you guys think yea i now the power is there i just got back from a stock dyno pull on my car and it put down 375 rwhp and 355 torque and this was on a mustang dyno so i was very happy with the numbers it put down they said it would put down about 411 rwhp on dynojet so overall i am very happy with my car and the numbers it put down today i guess i just need to practice on my launching and trying the short shifting like lethal said but over all these cars are a blast to drive.
