Hey guys new to the site.

07 GT 3v
E85
Kenne bell 2.6 13PSI
long tubes with off-road h pipe
19-20* timing
8 rib
11.5 WOT air fuel
manual trans

going to the dyno (mustang dyno) in about 4 hours to make a couple pulls. any guesses?

any advice on about how much more timing I should try to get in it?

im not going in for a tune. I have the sct software and am just going to make 3-4 pulls and probably play with the timing between pulls to see what it likes.

I hope the pistons melt out of it so this can become a tech thread and won't need to get moved.

ah, it might be tech, there is one question about timing :) Good luck and have fun. It will make 560 rwhp.

As alluded too, this is not tech on this board.

I made just over 500 on essentially same setup on pump gas with 11psi on a stingy Mustang Dyno... The dude after me made 590 on termi with a 2.9 whipple to put it in perspective. It will be over 5 for sure or your tune sucks.

I have been emailing him, I will get his help after some more upgrades if I get that far. my fuel pump and maf are about maxed so I would upgrade those before getting a good tune. Not that mine is actually bad, I think its pretty fair.

I have a 94 cobra with a turbo that I built that made north of 1000hp and it was just so easy. This car just seems to be a pain with all the heat soak, and the constant throwing of the belts, even after an 8 rib and double tensioner setup and laser aligning the pulleys. The tuning and logging process with a sct/handheld is such a nightmare compared to like a moates quarterhorse where its all live tuning no loading and deleting files back and forth just to make a small change.

just not used to it all I guess. I do like driving the car though, very good manners with the stock heads and cam which I like. If it makes over 500, maybe ill get it some more credit lol

got a mvb t brake 4r70w to put in also. should make it much more fun and help with the belt issue.

I'm moving this to chat, if more constructive conversation about timing starts to be posted, I'll move it back.

Stock shortblock?
If not, more details will help.
If it is the stock shortblock, I wouldn't push it more than what you have out of it unless you want to change the thread title to one of our famous KABOOM! threads.

The shortblock has a cobra crank and h beam with some wiseco pistons. The heads and cars are stock.

Graph shows it was on it was to possibly make more power. Weird dip to the pull up top that didn't go away. Graph posted

The dip could be valve float? You mentioned stock heads so I assume stock springs.
At what IAT does it begin to pull timing? I thought there is much more wiggle room in this area with E85. Also what cc pistons are you using?

Sorry for all the questions. I enjoy reading dyno/build threads.

it doesnt matter how strong or how much boost. That KB just will be too hot, ice wont even help. best i even got without pulling my hair out over heat was around 550.

Does it feel fast at all or just bleaaaahhhhh

It does feel pretty good on the street. It has 3.55 gears and 26" tires, I'm thinking it would pull a lot harder with some 4.10s and a 28" tire

Was thinking the same. Possible valve float since springs are stock,or maybe air restriction through the 3" intake box supplied with the CA legal kenne bell kit. Iat started at 90* and ended the pull at 155*. I didn't have it pull any till 150, which I think is too high, going to lower It some.

Unsure of the piston cc. I think it's 1 full point less compression than stock

I'm beginning to realize that. The heAt soak is real with this thing.

Wonder if I have room in the fuel system for nitrous since pumps already at 90% lol
